Lakaz Chamarel Exclusive Lodge, Chamarel

Each evening at Lakaz Chamarel was a culinary adventure. The dining experience was truly unique with a different menu crafted each night, showcasing delicious dishes made from locally sourced ingredients. I particularly enjoyed the traditional Mauritian lunch, which allowed me to sample an array of very nice flavors. The desserts were absolutely good, demonstrating the chef's really good talent in pastries.

Staying in a sea view suite with a private plunge pool was a highlight of my stay. The suite was incredibly spacious and offered amazing views of the surrounding nature. I loved waking up to the sound of exotic birds chirping and relaxing by my pool, taking in the tranquil atmosphere that made me feel right at home.

The spa services at Lakaz Chamarel were simply lovely. I decided to treat myself to a massage which was an amazing experience, allowing me to indulge in relaxation amidst the beautiful scenery. The overall atmosphere of the lodge encouraged a deep sense of calm, making it an ideal place to unwind and recharge.

The opportunities for outdoor activities were plentiful at Lakaz Chamarel. I took advantage of the hiking trails nearby, like the challenging trek up to Piton Canot. The views from the top were well worth the effort, and the experience allowed me to connect with the stunning natural beauty of the area. I also appreciated the option to borrow bikes to explore further at my leisure.
